Resources for our members

In addition to the fellowship and grant programs, GRIISIQ provides acces to many resources to encourage and support research by its members, by advising them on:

  • Statistics and methods: On approval by management, and in accordance with the Group’s objectives, a biostatistician is available by appointment for private consultations on planning analyses, determining methodological strategies (design), establishing sample size, etc.(N.B.: the statistician does not conduct analyses; she merely provides advice).
  • Scientific writing: On approval by management, and in accordance with the Group’s objectives, a medical journalist, an editor and a translator are all available by appointment to help edit and write successful manuscripts

New procedure: To have access to these resources, please complete the attached form and send it to the contact below. Your request will be evaluated as soon as possible.

  • The request for funds may be sent up to 3 months before an article submission and 6 months before attending a conference.
  • Following the receipt of funds, a proof of submission of the manuscript  must be sent to us within 60 days.

For information on how to access these resources, please contact Catherine LedouxCoordinator of communications and administration, at 514-890-8115 or catherine-ameli.ledoux@umontreal.ca.
