The Scientific Evaluation Committee consists of members chosen to ensure transparacy, outside the GRIISIQ's Board of Directors and Executive Committee. It is composed of:

• Chair
• Expert researchers
• Clinical decision makers

Mandate

The Scientific Evaluation Committee meets twice a year, in May and in November. Its mandate is:

• To review the evaluation criteria for funding applications and suggest modifications to the Executive Committee
• To evaluate and select funding applications according to given criteria
• To pass on its recommendations to the Executive Committee regarding the awarding of fellowships and grants.
