- The overall quality of all research activities conducted by the co-principal investigator and co-investigators shows that the team has the scientific and clinical expertise to successfully carry out the project.
- The research team’s involvement in clinical research has been properly demonstrated, as evidenced by the scope of the knowledge transfer or clinical-research project initiatives undertaken by various team members
- The respective roles of the investigator(s) and nurse(s) are clearly defined and foster collaboration between the universities involved and between the latter and the clinical milieu concerned.
- Relevance of project: The project focuses on developing, implementing or refining a nursing intervention with clinical outcomes (i.e., the project coincides with the definition of “nursing intervention with clinical outcomes”

- The relevant components of the intervention (program) are highlighted;
- The project could make a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge in nursing.
- Scientific quality of project:
- A description of the underlying theory is presented in relation to the proposed project objectives;
- The research design selected makes it possible to meet the project’s main goal;
- The logic underlying the choice of design is stated and appropriate;
